Strengths of Hardox steel plates
The excellent toughness of Hardox steel materials can enhance bendability, formability, and
weldability. Hardox steel materials show outstanding crack resistance when receiving stress
exceeding the yielding point or deformation (e.g., when shocked with a heavy rock for processing
at a workshop or a site). Although local cracks are generated by a huge heavy object, the shock
spreads over the entire steel plate, which shows resistance to crack spread.
